The Apps Home Page
Updated over a week ago

The home page is divided into different categories for easy navigation. Additionally it also displays the door status of the coop door for easy checking and any possible warning messages.

WiFi Signal Strength

The strength of your home WiFi is indicated here. If the signal is low, try repositioning the HomeHub so that it has better access to your home wifi network.

Coop Selector

You may have up to four door openers attached to the App. This feature is not yet available. For now, selecting the different coops will have no effect.

Radio RSSI

The signal strength of the Radio Link is displayed here. The lower the number, the better the signal quality. For example -21dBm would be concidered a very good signal strength but a reading of -95dBm would be concidered a low signal strength. To help increase the signal strength you can elevate the Radio Receiver on the coop and also posotion the HomeHub in a higher location. Remember that heavy foliage and other obsticales will effect the overall signal quality.

Coop Control

To change any of the settings for your door opener or to check on the status of the coop, press the Enter button.

Eggs Today

To help you keep track of how your girls are doing, to can use this tracker to enter their daily egg count.

Solar Power and Battery Monitoring

You may keep an eye on the performance of your solar panel and/or the state of the batteries all displayed in a helpful graphical format.

General Settings

You may change/update some of the background proccesses from here such as changing the email messaging or enabling/disabling the HomeHub LED from here.

Radio Setup

Access the Radio Settings from here.

CAUTION: Once your device has been setup, you should not need to access this page as any changes here will also have to be made on your physical ChickenGuard as well.

Classic Door Control

This gives you an alternative door control interface that more closely replicates the traditional ChickenGuard user interface as you have on a physical door opener.
