IMPORTANT
Your ChickenGuard should be fully configured and the Solar Panel installed with the rechargeable NiMH batteries.
The Radio Receiver should be secured onto your coop with a good line of sight to the HomeHub.
The Radio should be connected to your ChickenGuard with the USB cable.

Step 1: HomeHub Positioning
Position the HomeHub in a location that has the best line of sight to your coop whilst still maintaining good access to your home Wi-Fi network signal. An elevated position will also help to maximise the radio range. You may move the Hub around the house to maximise this range.
With good positioning and a clear line of sight, a range in excess of 1mile is achievable.
Step 2: Solar Panel Installation
Attch the Solar Panel to your coop facing in a southerly direction angled towards the sun. It is important that the panel has good access to direct sunlight and is not obstructed by trees or other foliage. Position Guidance
Install the rechargeable batteries into the ChickenGuard
Connect the Solar Power lead to the Chickenguard

Step 3: Attach the Radio Receiver
Position the Radio Receiver to your coop so that it has a clear line of sight to HomeHubs location as far as is possible. Trees and other obsticals can effect the radio range so an elevated position on the coop will help.
Step 4: Begin Pairing the App
When you have installed the equipment, open the App. You will see below Home Screen on your phone
Press the Radio Icon (#1) at the bottom of the screen to enter the Radio Setup page
3. Begin Pairing the Devices
Follow the on screen promts to start the process pressing Next to confirm each step.
Press Next when ready
Step 4: Enter Pairing Mode on the ChickenGuard
The ChickenGuard has be be manually set to Pairing Mode to start this automated proccess.
On your ChickenGuard, using the buttons as illustrated below, navigate to:
Misc Setting menu
then Radio Coms menu
then enter Pairing Mode.
IMPORTANT: THIS STEP PUTS YOUR RADIO INTO PAIRING MODE. IF THIS STEP IS OMITTED, SETUP WILL FAIL.
Step 5: Pair the Device Now
Once you have placed the ChickenGuard into Pairing Mode, Press Test Link to start the proccess.
Step 6: Automatic Configuration
The App will now start searching for the Radio Module. Once it has found the device it will automatically configure the device and then sync all the ChickenGuards data to the App.
Press Exit when sync has completed
Your App is now fully setup and ready to use.
