IMPORTANT
Your ChickenGuard should be fully configured and the Solar Panel installed with the rechargeable NiMH batteries.
The Radio Receiver should be secured onto your coop with a good line of sight to the HomeHub.
The Radio should be connected to your ChickenGuard with the USB cable.

Step 1: Go to your coop with your phone in hand
When you are at your coop, open the App. You will see the below Home Screen on your phone
Press the RED icon at the bottom of the screen to enter the Radio Setup page
Step 2: Locate the HomeHub
Position the HomeHub in a location that has the best line of sight to your coop whilst still having access to your home Wi-Fi network signal. An elevated position will also help to maximise the radio range.
With good positioning and clear line of sight, a range in excess of 1mile is achievable.
CAUTION: DO NOT PLACE THE HOMEHUB OUTSIDE

Step 3: Connect the Solar Power
We use a radio to communicate to the internet which means that the ChickenGuard has to have additional power. This can be supplied from either the Solar Power option or from a DC 9v power supply. Whichever power source you choose, make sure that it has been plugged in to the ChickenGuard.

Step 4: Connect the Radio Module
Make sure that the Radio Module has a clear line of sight to the HomeHub whever possible. Choose an elevated position on your coop and connect the Radio to your ChickenGuard using the USB cable. Heavy foliage and other obsticals can effect the range of the radio so care should be taken when positioning the Radio to maximise the range.
Press Next when ready
Step 5: Start the Pairing Proccess
On your ChickenGuard, using the buttons as illustrated below, navigate to
Misc Setting menu
then Radio Coms menu
then enter Pairing Mode.
IMPORTANT: THIS STEP PUTS YOUR RADIO INTO PAIRING MODE. IF THIS STEP IS OMITTED, SETUP WILL FAIL.
Step 6: Start the Pairing Proccess
Once you have placed the ChickenGuard into Pairing Mode, Press Next to start the proccess.
Step 7: Automatic Configuration
The App will now start searching for the Radio Module. Once it has found the device it will automatically configure the device and then sync all the ChickenGuards data to the App.
Press Exit when sync has completed
Your App is now fully setup and ready to use.
