In February/March 2024, the Solar Optimised All-in-One model have/will become available to purchase in some locations.
When purchasing a Solar All-in-One, you will receive 1x solar panel and set of 4x NiMH batteries.
The solar optimised model will be clearly marked with a special model label.
Can the ChickenGuard PRO run on solar power?
In Spring 2024, the PRO Solar Upgrade Kit will become available in some locations.
When purchasing a PRO Solar Upgrade Kit, you will receive 1x solar panel and 1x solar charger block (which holds 4x NiMH batteries).
However, our latest software models will not need this option so please contact our customer support directly for more information.
Are other ChickenGuard models solar compatible?
Many of our units including the mark 4 version are compatible with the solar power pack.
