Our Mark-5 models can be calibrated in both Automatic and Manual modes.
In order for an Automatic Calibration to be successful, the unit must be positioned directly above the coop door. If using a pulley system, or an alternative style of door, you will need to use Manual Calibration.
Please follow the below instructions to change your calibration type:
Press the menu button once to wake the unit up
Press the menu button once more to open the settings menu
Press the down button 5 times to get to Misc Settings, pressing the menu button to select this option
Press the down button 3 times to get to Calibrate Type, pressing the menu button to select this option
Then choose "MANUAL" using the down button, or "AUTO" using the up button
Now you can go back to Calibration, but this time you can set the open position and then the closed position to exactly where you want.
