If you ever see a symbol on your door opener's screen that looks a bit like a flame emoji, this means that an option called "Remote Control" has been turned on in settings.
This setting was added in anticipation for a remote control app which is currently in development.
To remove this symbol from your screen, please follow these instructions:
Press the menu button once to wake the screen
Press the menu button once to enter the Settings Menu
Keep pressing the down button until you reach "Misc Settings", pressing the menu button to enter this setting
Keep pressing the down button until you reach "Remote Control", pressing the menu button to enter this setting
Choose "NO" using the down button
The symbol should now have disappeared from your screen.
NOTE: if your unit has the "Remote Control" option in Misc Settings, then you most likely have a model that will not be compatible with the remote control app when it is released. The method of remote connection has had to be changed since development of the app first began, and for this reason, the app software will unfortunately only be compatible with mark-5 models and All-in-One units.
